Creamy Mushroom Farfalle Pasta

Keto Pasta
Creamy Mushroom Sauce
 1 tbsp butter
 3 oz mushrooms of choice
 ¼ lb ground beef
 2 cloves garlic, minced (2 tsp worth)
 ¼ cup chicken stock
  cup heavy whipping cream
 ¼ cup shredded Pecorino cheese
 herb options: 1/2 tsp thyme + 1/2 tsp tarragon or 7 fresh sage leaves

Once sauce is ready, cook the pasta by heating up 1 tbsp of butter over medium heat. Add in chilled pasta and cook for about a minute on each side (or until you see a little browning).

Creamy Mushroom Sauce

Heat ghee/butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add in onions and cook until fragrant and translucent. Then toss in mushrooms and ground beef for 4-5 minutes until mushrooms have started to turn golden brown.

Step 2
Add in garlic and cook for 1 minute. Mix chicken stock into mushroom mixture, and season with salt and black pepper. Bring to a simmer, reduce heat, and cook until most of the stock has evaporated.

Step 3
Pour cream into mushroom mixture, add your herbs of choice and simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 4
Turn off heat; mix 1/8 cup Pecorino cheese into sauce until cheese has melted.

Step 5
Serve with rest of Pecorino cheese.
